CEMASTEA partnered with the African Olympiad Academy (AOA) and the University of Nairobi to host a Residential Bootcamp from 8th to 12th April 2026, preparing Kenya's team for PAMO, IMO and PAIO Rwanda.

CEMASTEA, in partnership with the African Olympiad Academy (AOA) and the University of Nairobi, hosted a Residential Training Bootcamp from 8th to 12th April 2026 at the Centre's Karen campus.

The bootcamp is part of Kenya's preparation pipeline for the Pan-African Mathematics Olympiad (PAMO), the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO), and the Pan-African Informatics Olympiad (PAIO) to be hosted in Rwanda.

Participating students engaged in intensive problem-solving sessions in mathematics and informatics, guided by lead trainers from AOA, lecturers from the University of Nairobi, and CEMASTEA facilitators.

The partnership strengthens Kenya's positioning in international STEM competitions and contributes to building a pool of mathematically and computationally gifted learners.

Our learners stand shoulder to shoulder with the best on the continent — what they need is opportunity, mentorship and belief.
