About
CEMASTEA

Empowering Africa through sustainable STEM education. We are the architects of a scientific renaissance.

Our Evolution since 2004

CEMASTEA was established in 2004 to provide continuous professional development for teachers in Mathematics and Science. Our roots lie in the SMASSE (Strengthening of Mathematics and Science in Secondary Education) project.

In 2014, we reached a pivotal milestone, transitioning into a State Corporation under the Ministry of Education, solidifying our mandate to transform STEM pedagogy across Kenya and the continent.
